1) Hand building sessions at Wheatfields Junior School - 10 weeks

Learn a range of pottery skills - pinch pots, coiling and slab work

​

Tuesdays until 4:45 pm - 6 pm

Summer 1: April 29   May 6, 13, 20
Summer 2: Jun 3, 10, 17, 24  July 1, 8

Location: Colne room  (access from outside door - 4 doors left of Junior school reception)

2) 1 x small group wheel throwing session at St Albans Pottery, Sandpit Lane 

Pottery wheel taster session at my home studio (St Albans Pottery, Sandpit Lane)

Saturday 24 May (start of half term) ** optional **

Small groups (3-4 students) - everyone gets a turn. 

Cost: £16

3) DofE skills - additional project **optional**

Potters will need 13 hrs over 13 weeks to qualify - additional project to do at home 

Potters can use own clay & own facilities - or have the option of my clay + firing + glazing *

Cost: no charge/ £20*  

 

Notes:

• Small group classes will ensure individual attention and support

• Potters are advised to bring a clean apron or old baggy shirt each week

• This club can be taken on as a Duke of Edinburgh skill, but not essential

• Most finished creations will be fired & glazed. EcoPottery activity will run on the last session of term (raw clay + local wildflower seeds - perfect for rewilding)
